What Guides Us
We are firmly committed to the authority of God’s Word and to living and serving in ways that bring glory to God—both in our theology and in our daily lives. Our mission flows from obedience to the Great Commission, with a focus on evangelism, discipleship, and the faithful multiplication of ministry through local believers.

We depend fully on prayer, the wisdom of Scripture, and biblical counsel as we seek God’s direction. We value fellowship with those who are committed to truth, doctrinal clarity, and a life set apart for God’s purposes.

At every level, HBC affirms the authority and central role of the local church. We are committed to ethical leadership, integrity in all relationships, and personal accountability throughout the ministry. Our Trustees and Officers are active, engaged, and held to the same biblical standards we expect across the organization.

How These Values Are Lived Out
Our values are not theoretical—they are practiced daily through intentional decisions and disciplined stewardship:

• We support Bible-centered, nonprofit ministries serving exclusively within the 10/40 Window
• We build long-term relationships through education for children and adults, especially in underserved villages
• We invest in the ongoing training and theological education of national leaders, including advanced ministry studies
• We operate with financial faithfulness—never borrowing money, but relying solely on God’s provision
• We do not charge administrative fees, ensuring resources are directed to ministry impact, not overhead
• We equip national leaders to build sustainable ministries by helping them develop their own support base—teaching them to “fish,” not simply providing a temporary solution
